What patch 1.0.10 changed in a match

Hood Warfare 2's first patch landed on October 12, four days after launch, and answered the biggest complaints from the first weekend. Here is what each change means for you:

Voice chat

Talk to the whole lobby or only your team. Push to talk is on T by default; switch to open mic or change the key in the settings. Team chat makes Hit A Lick and Destroy The Block far easier to coordinate.

Anti-cheat and reports

An anti-cheat system now runs with the game; the Steam page lists Easy Anti-Cheat at kernel level. If you meet a cheater, use Report in the pause menu: the developer reviews reports and bans players with many confirmed ones.

Spawns and spawn protection

Spawn points were reworked and spawn protection added, so fewer players die the moment they appear. Small maps like Supermarket keep a short time to kill by design.

10+ bug fixes

Loadout presets now save, end-of-match progression shows properly, your player selection sticks, ping shows correctly in the join screen, and Drive By routes moved on some maps.
