Hood Warfare 2 killstreaks work the way Call of Duty players expect: chain kills, then call the reward in. Fan guides report that streaks come in through an in-game phone, which fits the setting better than a laptop full of air support.
Objective modes such as Turf War give fewer kills per life than GangBang, so the cheaper Hood Warfare 2 killstreaks earn their place there.

Hood Warfare 2 killstreaks did more to sell the game than any trailer. Short clips of a "Snitch Ready" callout and a Drive By rolling through a lobby spread across TikTok, Instagram and X over the launch weekend: one TikTok of the streaks passed 240,000 views and a clip comparing the game to Call of Duty passed 6 million.
Part of the appeal is recognition. Anyone who has played Call of Duty knows the rhythm of a UAV, a care package and a gunship, and Hood Warfare 2 keeps that rhythm while renaming every step. The other part is price: at $5.99, people who saw a clip could buy the game and try it the same night, which is how the player count climbed past 11,000.
The first patch, released October 12, adjusted where the Drive By drives on some maps. It did not change the other Hood Warfare 2 killstreaks.
